Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. lean ground meat
2 (16 oz.) cans chicken broth
1 qt. plus 1 pint water
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can crushed tomatoes (I prefer stewed)
1 small pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 c. elbow macaroni
Preparation

Fry hamburger in a large pot.
Add chicken broth, water, onion soup mix, celery, tomatoes and frozen vegetables.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Add the macaroni and simmer 10 minutes.
Salt and pepper may be added to taste.
(I do not add salt or pepper; onion soup gives it enough flavor).
