Potatoes Ala Verna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium or 2 small potatoes per person
    1/2 medium onion per person
    butter or vegetable oil
    salt
    pepper
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Slice potatoes like thick potato chips.
    Slice onions and separate into rings or cut into large chunks.
    Put in microwavable casserole; salt and pepper to taste.
    Use just enough oil to coat vegetables or dot lightly with butter.
    Add water to bowl and cook in microwave until potatoes are tender.
    Cover dish while cooking. Potatoes will cook in 10 to 15 minutes.
