Pepper Steak Verde(Low-Fat Style) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak (1/2-inch thick, no fat)
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce (low sodium)
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet
    1 Tbsp. flour (all-purpose)
    1 Tbsp. diet margarine
    1 c. slivered green pepper
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 c. water (may add more if needed during cooking)
Preparation
    Cut steak into thin 1 1/2-inch strips. Combine soy sauce, lemon juice and Kitchen Bouquet.
    Add steak pieces to sauce mixture and stir to coat.
    Sprinkle with flour and saute steak pieces in butter (diet).
    Add green pepper and water.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until meat is fork-tender.
    (Serve with salad and fruit, for a delicious meal.)
    Makes 4 servings.
