Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Cream shortening well.
    Add sugar and beat.
    Add eggs; beat again.
    Add flour and bananas alternately.
    Cook in bread pan (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch) in a moderate oven (350\u00b0) for about 70 minutes.
