Diabetic Golden Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. cloves
    3/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. oil
    7 eggs, separated
    1 c. cooked or canned pumpkin
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    3 Tbsp. liquid Sucaryl
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Have eggs at room temperature for best volume when beaten.
    In small mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, spices and salt.
    Make a well in the center. Add oil, egg yolks, pumpkin and Sucaryl; beat until smooth.
    In larger mixing bowl, beat egg whites until foamy.
    Add cream of tartar; beat until very stiff peaks form.
    Gently fold batter into stiffly beaten egg whites until just blended; do not stir.
    Turn into greased 9-inch tube pan.
    Bake for 1 hour or until firm to touch.
    Invert cake to cool.
