Oatmeal Spice Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. quick oats
1 1/4 c. hot water
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pinch salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Pour water over oats.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Cream shortening and sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Stir in oatmeal and remaining ingredients; mix well.
Pour into large cake pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
