Festival Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. long grain rice
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 stick oleo
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. seedless raisins
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Add rice and salt to boiling water.
    Cover and cook over low heat until water is absorbed.
    Add milk and oleo, bring to boil, cover and cook 1 hour or until milk is absorbed.
    Add sugar, raisins and vanilla to beaten eggs.
    Pour into rice, stirring slowly until rice begins to thicken.
