Ingredients

1 qt. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. rice
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Combine milk, sugar, butter, salt, nutmeg, vanilla and rice.
Bake uncovered, stirring often, for 2 1/2 hours.
Add raisins after first hour.
