Five Hour Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef, cubed
    4 carrots, sliced
    1 c. celery and tops, chopped
    2 onions, sliced
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. tomato sauce
    1 tsp. chopped parsley
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    3 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    1 can water chestnuts
    1 can mushrooms
    2 cans whole potatoes
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together; cover and bake at 250\u00b0 for 4 hours.
    Add 1 can water chestnuts, drained, 1 can drained mushrooms and drained potatoes.
    Bake an additional hour.
    Serves 6 to 8.
