Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium tomato, blanched, peeled, seeded and finely chopped
    1/4 c. tomato or mixed vegetable juice
    2 Tbsp. chopped green onions (scallions)
    2 Tbsp. chopped green bell pepper
    1/2 small garlic clove, minced
    1 tsp. minced fresh cilantro
    1/8 tsp. each: ground cumin, chili powder and hot sauce
    1/8 tsp. minced jalapeno peppers (optional)
Preparation
    In small bowl, combine all ingredients, mixing well.
    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until flavors are blended, at least 30 minutes.
    Yield:
    3/4 cup.
