Beef Curry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. cubed beef
    2 large onions, sliced
    2 cloves garlic
    3 to 4 tsp. curry powder
    2 c. beef broth
    1 Tbsp. tomato puree
    1 Tbsp. chutney
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. plain yogurt
Preparation
    Melt butter and oil in large saucepan.
    Add meat; brown quickly.
    Remove from pan.
    Fry onions in remaining fat until soft.
    Add the garlic and curry powder; cook gently 2 minutes. Replace meat and add beef broth, puree, chutney, lemon juice and yogurt.
    Simmer until tender.
    Serve with rice, chopped peppers, tomatoes, coconut and peanuts, if desired.
