Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Great Northern beans
1 tsp. soda
1/4 c. white sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. diced bacon
1 qt. tomato juice
Preparation

Cover beans with cold water and add soda; bring to a boil. Drain; add fresh water and bring to a boil again; drain.
Add water again and boil beans 1 hour or until tender.
Drain.
Place in baking pan.
Add rest of the ingredients and bake until not soupy or about 1 hour.
Serves 8 to 12.
