Ingredients

yolks of 3 eggs, well beaten
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 c. whipping cream, whipped
3/4 c. or more crushed vanilla wafers
Preparation

Take the first 4 ingredients and cook until thick like custard.
Cool.
Fold in whipped cream and egg whites.
Pack some of the crushed wafers in bottom of freezing tray.
Add other ingredients and then sprinkle rest of crumbs on top; freeze.
