Russian Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. chopped black walnuts
    dash of salt
    additional powdered sugar (to roll cookies in)
Preparation
    In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar with electric mixer. Mix in flour, walnuts, vanilla and salt.
    Roll into balls, or shape into crescents.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
    While still warm, roll in additional powdered sugar.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
