3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. margarine or shortening, softened
1/3 c. oil
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. almond extract
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a large bowl, beat sugar, margarine or shortening, oil, milk, almond extract and egg until light and fluffy.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
Stir in flour, baking powder and salt; blend well.
Spread evenly in ungreased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan; sprinkle with colored sugar.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool 5 minutes; cut into bars.
Makes 4 dozen.
