Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1/4 c. canola oil
    1 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. diced green pepper
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 beef bouillon cube (optional)
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. ground cumin
    1/4 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Brown rice lightly in oil in a 10-inch skillet.
    Add onion and green pepper; saute until onion is transparent.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Simmer, covered, 35 to 40 minutes until rice is done.
