Citrus Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. pineapple juice, chilled
    1 1/2 c. grapefruit juice, chilled
    1 1/2 c. orange juice, chilled
    1 qt. ginger ale, chilled
    6 to 8 maraschino cherries
    1/2 gal. lime sherbet
    2 or 3 sprigs mint leaves
    1 lemon, thinly sliced
    1 lime, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Mix juices, adding some of the cherry juice and carbonated beverage in large punch bowl.
    Add other ingredients, except for lemon, lime and sherbet.
    Scoop sherbet by the spoonful to float on top of punch.
    Use enough to almost cover the top.
    Blend gently.
    Place lemon, lime and mint sprigs in center for garnish.
