Seven Layer Salad #2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    lettuce (enough to cover bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan)
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    10 oz. pkg. frozen green peas
    1 c. mayonnaise or low-fat ranch dressing
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. grated cheddar cheese
    8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Preparation
    Into 13 x 9 inch pan (or use large clear glass salad bowl) put layer of lettuce, onions, celery, green pepper. Add the cooked, drained and cooled green peas. Pour the mayonnaise on top. Sprinkle sugar on top, then add cheddar cheese and top with bacon. Refrigerate overnight or all day for maximum flavor.
