Cherry Angel Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food loaf cake
    1 (No. 2) can cherry pie filling
    1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. dairy sour cream
Preparation
    Cut cake into 1/2-inch cubes.
    Place 1/2 of cubes in a 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Reserve 1/3 cup cherry pie filling for top; spoon remainder over cake in pan.
    Add rest of cake.
    Combine pudding mix, milk and sour cream.
    Beat until smooth.
    Spoon over cake. Chill at least 5 hours or overnight.
    Cut into squares for serving.
    Garnish with reserved cherries.
    Serves 8.
