Old-Timey Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    4 c. flour (all-purpose)
Preparation
    Measure out 4 cups of flour.
    Add gradually to other ingredients, until mixed.
    Do not make too dry.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 oven.
