Lemon Sponge Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
2 egg whites
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Then add flour.
Add egg yolks, then add the juice and rind of 1 lemon.
Add milk and egg whites (beaten until stiff) last.
Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake 35 minutes in slow oven for 10 minutes at 400\u00b0, then decreased to 350\u00b0 for the remaining 25 minutes.
