Macaroni And Cheese With Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked macaroni
    2 cans tomatoes, chopped or mashed
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    sugar to taste
    1 pkg. shredded cheese (or cube your own)
    sliced American cheese (for topping)
Preparation
    Mix tomatoes, onion and sugar.
    Pour macaroni into baking dish while hot and add a little butter or margarine.
    Add tomato mixture and mix.
    Add shredded cheese.
    Top with pieces of American cheese and cover.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Remove cover and brown, if desired.
