Walnut Caramels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 c. light cream or whipping cream
1/4 c. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Line an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan with foil; lightly butter foil. In heavy saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, cream and butter. Cook over medium heat.
Stir with wooden spoon until temperature reaches 245\u00b0.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and nuts.
Pour into pan.
Let cool thoroughly.
Cut into pieces and wrap in clear wrap or wax paper.
