Tomato Soup Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening or margarine
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    11 oz. can tomato soup
    3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. soda
    3 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon, nutmeg and ground cloves
Preparation
    Cream shortening (or more) and sugar.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    In another bowl, combine soup, water and soda.
    Sift together in separate bowl the dry ingredients.
    Add dry ingredients and soup alternately to cream mixture.
    Mix well and bake in 9 x 13-inch baking pan in 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
    Frost with cream cheese frosting.
