Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped broccoli or 10 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    dash of grated thyme
Preparation
    Place vegetables and broth in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until vegetables are done.
    Mix milk, cornstarch, salt, pepper and thyme.
    Add to cooked vegetables. Cook, stirring constantly, until soup is lightly thickened and mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat. Add cheese and stir until cheese is melted.
    Makes 4 (1 cup) servings.
