Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    3/4 c. butter
    1/2 can evaporated milk (13 oz. size)
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Prepare cake batter by package instructions.
    Pour half of the batter into a 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
