Blueberry Buckle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. soft shortening
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 1/3 c. Gold Medal flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. fresh or drained canned blueberries
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. soft butter
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix thoroughly 3/4 cup sugar, shortening and egg.
    Stir in milk.
    Measure 2 cups flour by the dip-level-pour method.
    Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in.
    Blend in berries. Spread in greased and floured 9-inch square pan.
    For crumb topping, mix 1/2 cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour, cinnamon and butter; sprinkle over top.
    Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick stuck into center comes out clean.
    Serve warm. Makes nine 3-inch squares.
