Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. sliced cucumbers
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 large onion, sliced
    2 c. green or red bell pepper
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Mix the first 5 ingredients together; refrigerate for 24 hours.
    Drain off liquid.
    Mix the sugar and white vinegar; add first mixture.
    Mix and refrigerate for 24 hours.
    Put in covered containers and freeze.
