Maple-Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch unbaked pie shell
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. light-brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 Tbsp. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1 1/4 c. maple-flavored syrup
    1/4 c. butter or regular margarine, melted
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    whipped cream (optional)
Preparation
    Prepare pie shell; refrigerate until ready to fill.
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In medium bowl, beat eggs slightly with rotary beater.
    Add sugar, flour, syrup and butter; beat until well blended.
    Stir in chopped pecans.
    Turn into unbaked pie shell; bake at 40 to 45 minutes or just until filling is set in center. (Shake pie gently; center should be firm.)
    Let cool on wire rack. If desired, serve garnished with whipped cream.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
