Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. broken pretzel sticks (small ones)
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 stick melted margarine or butter
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 large carton Cool Whip
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 can pineapple pie filling or fruit of your preference
Preparation
    Mix first three ingredients together and bake for 10 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Cool.
    Break apart with spatula while still warm. Cream together the next three items and sprinkle on top of pretzels.
    Cover with 1 can pineapple pie filling or fruit of your choice.
