24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, chopped
    2 c. celery
    1 onion, chopped
    8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 pkg. frozen peas (not cooked)
    2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
Preparation
    Layer vegetables; spread mayonnaise on top and sprinkle with sugar, cheese and bacon.
    Refrigerate 24 hours covered with Saran Wrap.
