Fruit Salad Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can cherries
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    2 pkg. cherry jello
    3 mashed bananas
    1 c. chopped nuts
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Make 2 (10-inch) pie crusts.
    Put on to heat the cherries, pineapple and 1 cup sugar.
    Cook until fairly thick.
    Remove from heat; add jello.
    Let cool.
    Add mashed bananas and nuts.
    Pour in pie crusts.
    Refrigerate until set.
    Serve with Cool Whip.
