Turtle Sauce Piquante - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. turtle meat, cut up in pieces
    1 small can mushrooms
    1 small can mushroom steak sauce
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    Tony Chachere's seasoning to taste
    1 green hot pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. onion tops and parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Parboil turtle meat for a short time.
    Drain and season.
    Melt margarine and brown meat until it begins to stick.
    Add vegetables and saute.
    Add Ro-Tel tomatoes and about 1 pint of water.
    Cook 2 to 3 hours, until tender.
    Add mushrooms.
    Serve over hot rice.
