Steve And Anita'S Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix flour and shortening together with a pastry blender until mixture is a coarse meal. Add milk, a little at a time. This will be a soft dough. Turn out on a lightly floured board. Pat into a 6 x 8-inch rectangle, about 1 1/2-inches thick. Cut into rectangles with a floured knife. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake in a preheated 500\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Brush with melted butter as soon as they come out of the oven. Enjoy!
