Chicken Breasts In Orange Sauce(Serves 6) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
dash of garlic powder
dash of pepper
6 chicken breast halves
6 Tbsp. oil
1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. white wine (optional)
2 tsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg or mace
2 c. thinly sliced carrots
8 oz. sliced mushrooms
Preparation

Flour chicken and lightly brown in oil.
Blend all ingredients, except carrots and mushrooms, in a large Dutch oven. Add carrots, mushrooms and chicken to blended ingredients and cook over a medium, low heat, 40 to 50 minutes.
Carrots should be done and crisp, but make sure chicken is not overdone as it will become dry.
Serves 6.
Perfect main dish for company.
Serve over rice pilaf.
