Skillet Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
2 large potatoes
4 large carrots
10 1/2 oz. can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1 medium onion
6 to 8 slices American cheese or shredded Cheddar
Preparation

Put the meat in a heavy 11-inch skillet.
Slice potatoes, carrots and onion in layers on top of it.
Cover with soup. Cover and cook over medium heat about 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to low and cook 30 more minutes.
Put cheese on top and let melt just before serving.
