Potato Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. diced potatoes
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. diced carrots
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 lb. American cheese, cubed
Preparation
    Cook in large saucepan the first 9 ingredients until tender. Mix flour and milk together.
    Add milk mixture to other ingredients.
    Cook until thick.
    Add cubed cheese and let melt. If desired, 3 cups cubed ham may be added.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
