Fried Pie Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine flour and salt; cut in shortening.
    Combine egg, water and vinegar.
    Add to flour and stir lightly.
    Shape into a ball and chill at least 1 hour.
