Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    McIntosh apples (1 lb. per cup of sauce)
    honey
    lemon juice
    cinnamon and nutmeg
    water
Preparation
    Cut each apple into at least 4 pieces.
    Put pieces (peels, seed and all) into a big pan.
    Cook over medium heat; stir from time to time until they are squishy.
    Add a little water, if needed.
    Put apples through food mill to smooth mixture and strain.
    Add a little honey to sweeten, a little lemon juice to bring out flavor. Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg; stir and eat warm or cool.
