Cheddary Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 small onion, sliced
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can Campbell's broccoli cheese soup
    1/4 c. shredded cheese (optional)
    1/3 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    4 medium potatoes, cooked and sliced (about 3 1/2 c.)
Preparation
    Cook onion in margarine in skillet over medium heat until tender.
    Stir in soup, milk and pepper.
    Heat to boiling.
    Add potatoes.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until hot and bubbling, stirring occasionally.
    Cook for 10 minutes.
    Add the 1/4 cup of cheese for a cheesier flavor.
