Steak San Marco - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. chuck steak, cut into pieces
    2 Tbsp. vinegar and oil
    1 pkg. onion soup mix (Lipton)
    1 (1 lb.) can Italian peeled tomatoes
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil; then add all other ingredients and simmer for 1 1/2 hours with pan covered.
    Serve over rice.
