Cherokee Indian Crusty Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. cold milk
    1 egg
    1 c. corn meal
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. sugar
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Place 1/2 stick of butter in skillet. Place in oven to melt.
    In bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and corn meal.
    Add milk and egg.
    Beat 1 minute by hand. Pour into hot pan of butter.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
