Tempting Shrimp Spread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine, softened
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 tsp. mayonnaise
dash of garlic salt
dash of pepper
1/8 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 c. celery, finely chopped
2 (4 1/2 oz.) cans shrimp, drained
Preparation

Cut pimento peppers (small sweet red pepper) in sections as it has grown.
Rinse well to eliminate seeds.
Drop into boiling water and cover.
Stem about 8 minutes, or until you can slip skin off. Remove from boiling water to cold water.
With fingers or small knife, remove all skin.
Place sections in small sealable jar or jars; pack tight.
Drain off all juice and add small pinch of salt and seal.
Place jars in boiling water bath and process for 35 minutes, just simmering.
Remove from heat and let set until cool. Pimentos will be covered with juice in jars.
