Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. ripe mashed bananas
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add dry ingredients, bananas and buttermilk.
    Mix until all flour is dampened.
    Beat vigorously for 2 minutes.
    Add eggs and beat 2 minutes longer.
    Fold in nuts. Pour into sprayed pan(s).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
