Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 pkg. frozen peas (uncooked)
chopped lettuce
2 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 (12 oz.) bacon, fried and crumbled
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Layer lettuce 1/2 inch deep in pan.
Sprinkle with onion over top of lettuce, in layers, add celery and peas.
Cover with mayonnaise so no air can get to lettuce.
Sprinkle with sugar. Sprinkle cheese and crumbled bacon (can use bacon bits).
Top with additional cheese.
Let set, well covered, in fridge 12 to 24 hours before serving.
Will keep for one week if kept covered and refrigerated.
