Blue Ribbon Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 c. unsalted butter (at room temperature)
6 large eggs (at room temperature)
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. sugar
1 c. milk (at room temperature)
Preparation

Sift together flour and baking powder.
Set aside.
Cream butter until light and fluffy.
Add sugar gradually, creaming all the time.
Add eggs one at a time, beating just to mix.
Combine milk and vanilla.
Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
