House Special Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. vermicelli, cooked
    1 1/2 qt. chicken broth
    8 oz. cooked tiny shrimp
    2 c. shredded lettuce
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    1/4 c. chopped scallions
    2 tsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. water
    2 tsp. teriyaki sauce
Preparation
    Cut vermicelli into 1-inch pieces and set aside.
    In large pan bring broth to boil.
    Stir in vermicelli, shrimp, lettuce, mushrooms and scallions.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Stir in dissolved cornstarch and teriyaki sauce.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Serves 8.
