Thelma'S Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
4 eggs, separated
butter (for the pie pan)
1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. heavy cream
Preparation

Note:
I don't bother making the lemon filling.
I take a package of Jell-O lemon pie filling.
Fix according to box.
Let cool.
Fold in whipped topping and use that.
I like it better and it saves time.
