Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) can almond paste
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream almond paste and butter.
Add sugar and egg.
Gradually add flour and salt.
Shape dough into 2-inch fingers.
Place 1-inch apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool.
