Party Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 minced garlic cloves
    3 lb. ground beef chuck
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. dark rum (Bacardi)
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes
    3 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
Preparation
    Heat oil in 8 to 10-quart kettle.
    Lightly saute onions and garlic.
    Add meat, breaking up and stirring with wooden spoon until color changes.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Stir.
    Cover and simmer 2 hours.
    Makes about 10 servings.
